The History of Benenden in the Weald of Kent

My aim is to present information from my studies of Benenden history, from prehistoric times to the twentieth century. I hope this will interest today’s residents and others, in this country and abroad, who have their roots in Benenden or have an interest in the parish and the Weald.

I will be pleased to hear from anybody with an interest in Benenden and its history, either commenting on the site and its content or providing new information.
